WHAT'S ON......?

ACTIVITIES & TRAINING

Costs for training days vary from free for members to ~$120, depending on the level and type of instruction and hire of equipment. A horse levy is also charged by the Showground Trust for each horse brought onto the showgrounds.  We usually try to incorporate this into our entry fees.

Lunch is generally a social affair and usually costs ~$5 for cold cuts/salad/bread roll. Sometimes we provide delicious curries or soup in the colder months. Members can let us know they are having lunch on the Registration Form at the time of entry or are also welcome to BYO lunch. Canned/bottled drinks, including water, are $1 each. Tea and Coffee are provided by the Club free!

On the Day -

The entry for horse floats and trucks is the second gate on the left. See the contact page for a map of the Bungendore Show Grounds and details of the showground layout.

There are camping facilities with access to power, toilets and showers.  There are spacious steel yards (bring a rope as there is no closure on the entry to some of the yards).  The wash bay requires a BYO hose.

The use of hoof boots is welcome at training days, but not at competitions.  Stallions are not permitted at training days, unless specified, but are welcome at competitions.

Please ensure any dogs are on leads and no dogs are to be on the main ground at all when people are riding.
