Governance

The Bungendore Riding Club is an incorporated Association registered under the Associations Incorporation Act 2009 regulated by the NSW Fair Trading’s Registry Services.  A key objective of the Act is to establish a scheme for the registration of associations that have been set up for small-scale, non-profit and non-commercial activities. An incorporated association has its own legal identity separate from its members, providing protection to members in legal transactions.

As of 14 December 2023 Bungendore Riding Club Inc holds ABN 3115 9427118

The Bungendore Riding Club is an Equestrian Australia (EA) affiliated club.

EA affiliated clubs are required to ensure that all participants are either direct EA members or members of the club.

Visiting Judges (for designated Events)
The BRC provides for travelling allowance to ensure that Judges for events are fairly compensated for travelling to and from the Bungendore Showgrounds.  Details of travel should be provided to the BRC email address (2mybrc@gmail.com) including kilometres travelled and BSB/Account to enable an EFT.  Current rates are $0.78 per kilometre which is in line with Government rates.

INCIDENT MANAGEMENT

In the event of an incident or accident at any BRC activity, including near misses, the coordinator is to complete the INCIDENT REPORT FORM and advise the president as soon as possible and EA within 24 hours.

BRC Equipment is sometimes available to hire to other users ON SITE. An Equipment Hire Form and Bond will be required.
