OUR COMMUNICATIONS

The BRC mainly uses email to keep in contact with members.

* We also use the Facebook group.

When "real time" information needs to get out to members quickly, like when events are cancelled due to weather, Facebook often provides the best solution.  We'll usually email riders as well.

** However, we ask you NOT to use Messenger or DMs to personal accounts - we prefer emails to the club address so everything is in the one place!

FROM THE PRESIDENT...

Hello, I’m Heather Nicholson, 2026 President of the Bungendore Riding Club (BRC). Over the years, the Bungendore and equine community have brought immense joy to my life, and serving in this role is my way of giving back to a place and a sport that mean so much to me.

Horses have always been more than a ride, they are cherished members of my family. That connection shapes the way I work with care, respect, and a commitment to creating a safe, inclusive and ethical environment for everyone.

I’m proud to bring strong integrity, accountability and respect into our club community, along with a firm belief that sport should always be welcoming and support all people, whatever their ability.

I feel incredibly fortunate to work alongside our dedicated BRC committee. Each person brings their own skills, interests and energy, helping us run a variety of well‑organised events throughout the year as well as manage everything behind the scenes, from governance and finances to general enquiries. It truly takes a team, and I think ours is exceptional.

What I love most about being involved in BRC is seeing our riders and volunteers grow. I get just as much satisfaction out of watching our members blossom with their horses as I do from being in the saddle myself. Our club isn’t just about riding; it’s about community, confidence, connection and the shared joy that horses inspire.

I’m proud to contribute to a club where everyone is welcome, everyone is supported, and everyone can experience the magic of horses, no matter where they are on their riding journey.

If you are not a member, have a look around our website and Facebook group and see if we can entice you to join. If you are already a member, check out our upcoming events and put them in your diary to come along.
